Central Tibet Tour - Duration - 14 Days

 

Day 01 : Delhi - Paro
Transfer to airport for flight DRUK AIR to Paro at 1000 hrs. Arrive Paro at 1115 hrs and transfer to Hotel Gangtey Resort / similar. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Paro - Thimphu
After breakfast, excursion to Taktsang Monastery, one of the most sacred place in the Kingdom. Afternoon visit to Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang and a traditional Bhutanese Farm House. Evening drive to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan and check into Hotel Taktsang / similar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, Thimphu sight seeing; visit to Tashichhodzong, Memorial Chorten and Handicrafts Emporium. After lunch, visit National Library, Painting School and Traditional Medicine Institute. Medicine Institute. Evening drive to Punakha across Dochula pass (3050m) that hearlds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Reach Punakha and check into Y.T. Hotel / similar. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Punakha Wangdiphodrang Tongsa
After breakfast, visit to Punakha Dzong and then proceed to Tongsa. Enroute visit Wangdiphodrang Dzong and local market. Further ahead cross 3300m high Pelela pass and visit Chendbji Chorten. Overnight in Norling Lodge / similar at Tongsa. Dinner and overnight.

Day 05 : Tongsa Bumthang
After breakfast, visit Tongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong (watch tower). After lunch, drive to Bumthang. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge / similar.

Day 06 Bumthang
After breakfast, full day sight seeing of Bumthang includes; Jakar Dzong, Kurje Lhakhang, Jambey Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge / similar.

Day 07 : Bumthang - Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit village houses and local market areas. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Taktsang / similar at Thimphu.

Day 08 : Bumthang - Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit village houses and local market areas. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Taktsang / similar at Thimphu.

Day 09 : Bumthang - Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit village houses and local market areas. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Taktsang / similar at Thimphu.

Day 10 : Bumthang - Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit village houses and local market areas. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Taktsang / similar at Thimphu.

Day 11 : Bumthang - Thimphu
After breakfast, drive to Thimphu. Enroute visit village houses and local market areas. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Taktsang / similar at Thimphu.
