Sikkim Tour - Duration - 05 Days

Sikkim is a visitor's dreams come true. The impregnable snowy Himalayas, not forgetting the third highest mountain in the world Kanchenjunga and the flat lowlands with it's diverse flora & fauna. A former kingdom , Sikkim is now the 22nd State of India .  It is rooted to the Himalayan Massif like a scale on the neck of a Dragon. The various ethnic groups have their own nomenclature - the Nepalese call it “Sukhim” or “New Home”, to the Tibetans it is known as “Denzong” or “the Valley of Rice”, and to the Lepchas, Sikkim’s original inhabitants , it means “Nye-Mal-Ale” or “Heaven”.
 

Day 01 Delhi - Bagdogra - Pemayangtse :  

Fly Delhi - Bagdogra. Drive to to Pemayangtse. Over night stay in the Hotel.

Day 02 Pemaynagtse :  

Visit the Pemayangtse & Sangaycholing Monastery. On return from the monastery, drive to Khecheoplari lake also known as the "wishing lake". Over night stay in the Hotel.
 

Day 03 Gangtok : 

Drive to Gangtok visiting the Rumtek Monastery en-route. Over night stay in the Hotel.
 

Day 04  Gangtok : Gangtok sightseeing tour: Full day Sightseeing covering Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibet-logy, Chorten and Orchid Sanctuary. Over night stay in the Hotel.
 

Day 05 Return Back to home : Early morning drive to the Nepali boarder for your flight from Bhadrapur to Kathmandu or your onward journey to India.
