Indus River Expedition   Duration : 13 / 14 Days

A self contained multi-day expedition down the spectacular and scenic Zanskar river gorge. The trip takes you down extremely desolates and remote Zanskar gorge with walls arising a few thousand feet from the river bed. The trip ends at mighty Indus river. This combined with hikes and visits to various monasteries in the Zanskar and Ladakh region makes this a fascinating trip to the last truly lost horizon of our shrinking planet. This run through grade III-IV rapids enhances the experience of journeying down this otherwise un trekkable gorge.
 

Duration :	13 Nights and 14 Days
Places Covered:	Delhi- Leh - Lamayuru - Kargil - Rangdum - Phey - Karsha - Pidmu - Nyerak - Markha - Kaya - Skiu - Nimu-Saspul - Leh-Delhi

 Day 01 Delhi- Leh (Fly) :

  Arrive Delhi fly for Leh, Evening free for leisure / pleasure & over night stay in the hotel. i 

Day 02 Leh :  

Full day city tour of Leh & over night stay.

Day 03 : Leh-Lamayuru-Kargil(Drive)
Morning drive to Kargil (180Km/5Hrs). Overnight stay in the hotel.
 

Day 04 : Kargil-Rangdum (Drive)
Early morning drive to Rangdum, which is on 12,000ft high from sea level. You can see fully ice covered Himalaya & overnight stay.

Day 05 : Rangdum-Phey(Drive).
Morning drive to Phey (7hrs) & Overnight in the camp.
 

Day 06 : Phey-Karsha (Raft).
After breakfast proceed for Karsha (18Km/3Hrs) & Overnight stay in the camp.
 

Day 07 : Karsha-Pidmu(Raft).
Morning rafting towards Pidmu (20Km/4hrs) & Overnight stay in the camp.
 

Day 08 : Nyerak(Raft)
Morning rafting towards Nyerk (25Km/5hrs) & Overnight in the camp.
 

Day 09 : Nyerak-Markha (Raft)
Rafting towards Markha (35Km/6hrs) & Overnight stay in the camp.
 

Day 10 :  Kaya and Skiu
Morning drive to Kaya and Skiu & Overnight stay in the camp.
 

Day 11 :  Kaya and Skiu
Day free for leisure/pleasure & over night stay.
 

Day 12 :  Nimu-Saspul (Raft)
Morning rafting towards Saspul (20Km/3hrs), Visiting Aalchi gompa and drive to Leh & overnight stay. 

Day 13 :  Leh 

Day free for Leisure & Pleasure.
 

Day 14 : Leh - Delhi (Fly)

 Fly Delhi & than proceed towards own destination
