Kailash Mansarover Yatra (Pilgrimage)
Mt. Kailash, 6,740 m. is
situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier, wholly within Tibet. It is the
perfect mountain with awesome beauty, with 4 great faces. It is the spiritual
centre for four great religions: Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion
and the pre-Buddhist animistic religion - Bonpo.

Vaishno Devi Yatra
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi
Shrine is one of the oldest shrine of India, located
at a height of 5300 feet on the holy Trikuta Hills of the Shivalik Hill Range.
The Holy cave is 13 Kms from the Base Camp Katra. The Town Katra is 50 Kms away
from Jammu and 35 Kms from District HQ Udhampur and is linked by road. The Mata
Vaishno Devi Shrine is one of the most popular Shrines of India.

Pilgrimage
in Dharamshala
Dharamshala over looks the
plains and is surrounded by dense pine trees and Deodar forests. A nearby
snowline with numerous streams and cool healthy atmosphere makes the
surroundings very attractive. Dharamshala came into being in 1849, when it was
selected as a site to accommodate a native regiment that was being raised in the
town. Dharamshala originally formed a subsidiary cantonment for the troops
stationed at Kangra was fully occupied by its garrison and there was
insufficient space for the civil station , a search for an alternate location
was made.

Holy Places Kullu
The most charming and beautiful
Kullu Valley spreads out its charm on either side of river Beas. The valley runs
north to south of this river and is 80kms. long and about 2kms. at its broadest.

Holy Places - Lahaul & Spiti
Lahaul
and Spiti are two remote Himalayan Valleys of H.P. lying on the Indo-Tibet

snow covered peaks.
The Lahaul plateau nourished by the Chandra and Bhaga rivers and the Spiti

Lahaul is glacier country and some of its most dramatic glaciers include the
Bara Shigri, Chota Shigri, Samundari and Sonapani glaciers.

Rishikesh Travel

Sarahan
The Gods were generous when
they gave Sarahan (2165m) its settings. Located halfway up a high mountain side,
the road to Sarahan winds Pine trees that give way to stately oaks and
rhododendrons. The fields and orchards surround the small villages with their
slate-roofed houses.

Pilgrimage Bhutan
Bhutan often reversed as the
'Land of the peaceful Dragon' is still regarded as one of the last "Shangri-La"
in the Himalayan region because of its remoteness, it's spectacular mountain
terrain, varied flora and fauna and it's unique ancient Buddhist monasteries. It
is relatively unexplored pockets of Asia, which allows only limited number of
discerning travelers to enter the country with special travel visa permits.

Holy Places Gangtok
Gangtok is endless. The small
town itself is a beautiful place to move around. It houses sites like the most
important 'stupa' of Sikkim, the Do Drul Chorten, the solitary temple or the
Enchey Monastery, the marvellous collection of orchids in the Orchid Sanctuary
and the picturesque Tashi Ling that provides an astounding view of the

Pilgrimage of Nepal
The Balmiki Ashram is situated in a forest on the banks of the Tribeni river, at
the south - western corner of Royal Chitwan National Park. It was a retreat used
by the great Hindu sage, Balmiki. This is where Sita is said to have lived with
her two sons, Labha and Kusha, after separating from Rama. Various statues were
unearthed in this area during an archeological excavation I the late 60's.

Pilgrimage in Tibet
Mt. Kailash (22028 Feet), considered to be a physical
embodiment of the mythical Mt. Meru, is believed to be the most sacred mountain
in the world. Its snow dusted rock pyramid is located in the scenically rich
area of western Tibet, which lies between the Himalayas and Karakurum ranges.
From its peak, one can enjoy the views of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and
Nepal. It is considered most auspicious to make a religious pilgrimage around
its fifty-three kilometres circuit (32 miles parikrama).
