Day 01 :
Arrive
Delhi
On arrival at Airport you shall be met
by our representative, after meet and greet transfer to Hotel. Stay overnight
at Hotel.
Day 02
:
Delhi-Chandigarh
On the second day would be travel in Beautiful and clean city Chandigah. Blessed
with the resplendent Blue Shivalik Hills, Chandigarh enjoys the special status
of being the Capital of two states Punjab and Haryana and also a Union Territory
controlled by Central Government.
Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 03:
Chandigarh to Shimla
Leave Chandigarh on third Day and reach Shimla (Capital of Himachal Pradesh).
Sightseeing in Shimla : The Ridge,
The Mall, Kali Bari Temple, State Museum, Indian Institutes of Advanced
Studies, Prospects Hills, Summer Hills Chadwick Falls, Views of Snowy Mountains
etc. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 04
:
Shimla - Manali
Manali is situated near the end of
the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath
taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear
water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees,
tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday, a
favorite resort for trekkers to Lahaul, Spiti, Kinnaur, Leh and Zanskar regions
in Kashmir valley. It is known as the Switzerland of
India.
Day 05
:
Manali
Day free at leisure. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 06
:Manali -Keylong
Situated at an altitude of 3350 mtrs., Keylong is the head quarter of Lahaul and
Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh lying on Indo-Tebetan Border. The region is
strange, exciting, primitive mountaineous and delightful. "Rudyard Kipling said
of the region " Surely the God live here thisno place for men. " the route of
Lahaul takes a traveller over Rohtang Pass (3980m above the sea level). Koksar (
1st village of Tandi crossing the river Chanderbhaga.
Day 07:
Keylong-Jespa
Morning drive to Jespa (137 Km, Alt. 3200 m) via Rohtang Pass and Keylong and on
arrival camp at a good spot in Jespa. Overnight stay Hotel.
Day 07
:Jespa - Sarchu
Morning drive to Sarchu and on arrival camp at a good site.
The picturesque town of Sarchu is located at the
height of 4253 meters and 105 km from keylong. This is the last point on the
Himachal Pradesh - Ladakh border that offers splendid views of snow capped
mountains. The unspoiled natural beauty of Sarchu offers a perfect ambience to
spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Overnight stay at camp.
Day 08
:Sarchu- Leh
Morning proceed for Leh and on arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon free to
relax and unwind. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09
:
Leh
Visit the Leh Palace - the battle
scarred and deserted 16th century ruins of the royal residence built by Singge
Namgyal, Shankar Gompa & Leh Mosque. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:
Leh
Day free at leisure. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 11:
Leh
Day free at leisure. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 12:
Leh-Lamayuru
Early morning depart for Lamayuru
and check in hotel. After lunch visit to monastery and the Village. This
monastery is oldest in Ladakh Region. O/N at hotel.
Day 13:
Lamayuru-Kargil
Sightseeing in Kargil. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 14:
Kargil-Sonamarg
Full day excursion to Sonamarg
(Golden Meadow). The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs.
Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains.
Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of
Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on
snow. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar, overnight in Deluxe Houseboats
Day 15:
Sonamarg-Srinagar
Early Morning Check out from Hotel
in Delhi - Reach the capital of Kashmir. Srinagar, the summer capital of
Kashmir, stands on Dal Lake and picturesque Jhelum River. The more modern part
of the city is further up the Jhelum River (above its famous seven bridges),
which sweeps through Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar and transfer to Houseboat . And
here they laid, with great love and care, Srinagar's many formal, water-front
gardens, now collectively known as the Mughal Gardens. Afternoon Shikara boat
ride . O/n Houseboat.
Day 16:
Srinagar-Pahalgam
The fifth day drive to Pahalgam. The
total distance of about 96 km east of Srinagar, at an altitude of 2130m. The
journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam will be covered in about 3 hrs. Drive through
the pine forest. Arrive at Pahalgam (the valley of Shepherds) For the Sighseeing
places - Chandanwari, Baisaran, Sheshnag Lake, Panchtani and transfer to hotel.
After lunch, walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains.
O/n Hotel.
Day 17:
Pahalgam-Srinagar-Delhi
After the check out from hotel
transfer to bus stand/airport for onward destination.
